November 8th Tournament Results and Trail Results

We began the day with 13 boats heading out to complete a 4 tournament trail. Great conditions as far as weather but the warm up really slowed the bite down quite a bit. Prefishing results proved to pose a much better bite reported many teams.

The teams headed of at 6:15am and soon after reports of some keeper fish had floated about. BUT the bite was slow and the fish were smaller. The teams headed in at 3:30 and the points were tight for angler of the year and for the trip to canada for early bird signups..

The team of Sam Hatcher and John Alexander weighed in 6 fish for 13.04LBS winning 1st palce and $500 and also earning 200 points towards angler of the year. Their point total was 790 earning 2nd place for AOY and earning them $130. 2nd place went to Robert Leonard and Cameron Leonard earning $225 and 199 points for a total of 619 points, as well as BIG FISH with a 6LBer for $130. 3rd place went to Derek Boeger and Ron Demus with 2 fish weighing 3.31 LBS and earning a check for $105 and 198 points for a total of 796 for the trail.

Early Bird teams fishing for the trip to canada was a tight race to the end. The teams Dave Tassoni and Nick Tassoni were tied with Andy Bufalo and Justin Clutter with 589 Points. Jim Humphry and Budd Andrews were not far behind with 581 points. All it took to take a lead was a no catch or a place spread with fish and weight totals. The team of Andy Bufalo and Justin Clutter weighed in 2 fish for 2.39 LBs to earn 195 points for a total of 784 and earn the trip to Canada . Dave and Nick Tassoni reported a no catch for a total of 25 show points for a total of 614 and Jim Humphry and Budd Andrews reported 1 fish for 1.81 LBS for 775 total points. THIS MADE FOR A VERY INTERESTING RESULT and RACE for the TRIP DONATED BY ANGLERS KINGDOM RESORT.

ANGLER OF THE YEAR
The team of Derek Boeger and Ron Demus captured the title for AOY by fishing 4 tourneys winning 2 and placing 2nd in 2 for a total of 796 Points. They took home $520 additional to place paid $105. CONGRATS ON A GREAT YEAR. Ron Demus also received an award for biggest trail fish at 11.63 LBS.

The team of Sam Hatcher and John Alexander came in 2nd place for AOY with 790 points and 4 tourneys fished 5th 6th 2nd and 1st places. Earning them $130 in addition to $500 FOR 1ST place.

All in all we had a wonderful and fun tournament season. With 4 tourneys fished we had a total of 83 fish for 191.73 LBS. That a 2 LB average on the Rock River. Very interesting statistic to really pay attention to. We have a great fishery and we look forward to next year.
