Tourney Fees and Format:
$150 per boat - (2 anglers per boat) ($10 per entry goes to Team of the Year)
$10 BIG FISH (optional)
80% Payback - 100% BIG FISH Payback
Payout to 20% of the field (50 boats = 10 places paid)
PAYMENT MADE THE DAY OF TOURNEY MUST BE CASH! Subject to $20 Late Fee
Location and Boundaries:
Rock River- Rockton Dam to Fordam Dam and Pecatonica River to Trask Bridge.
Launch / Weigh-In:
Rockton Dry Dock, Across From Hononegah High School on Hononegah Rd
Late Registration: 5:00 am to 5:30 am date of tournament.
Pre-launch Meeting at 6:00 am:
At least 1 (one) angler from each team is required to attend. We will discuss rules of tournament and payout structure. A pre-launch inspection of all boats will take place at this time as well. All livewells will be checked prior to take off. All state laws will apply to all boats and fishing regulations. If you are ticketed during tournament hours for any reason you will be disqualified.
Time of Take Off: 6:00 a.m.
All boats will take off in order of received and PAID entries!!!
All Boats must be in water by 6:15 a.m.
Weigh-In: 2:00 p.m.
(All boats must be at the dock and report to the tournament official)
Absolutely no late weigh-ins will take place. If you are late to the weigh-in you will be disqualified from the tournament. No Exceptions. Any dead/short fish brought to weigh-in will be penalized half the weight of that fish. The limit for the weigh-in is as follows. 6 walleye/sauger of legal size with total weight calculated. There will be no early weigh-ins.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
A. Contestants acknowledge that they are participating voluntarily in the RockfordFishing.com Walleye Trail. Contestants agree to assume all risks or injury, death, damages, theft and loss to personal property, which may result from their participation in the RockfordFishing.com Walleye Trail. Contestants recognize that loss of property, injury, or death could arise from the fishing and boats activities contemplated by the tournament and the risk normally encountered in open water fishing from a boat maybe enhanced exposure to the elements and other risk inherent in outdoor competition. Contestants warrant that they in good physical and mental health and physically capable of with standing the rigors and requirements of professional fishing competition.B. If Requested, Verification of liability insurance must be presented. Contestants maintain a minimum of $100,000 of liability insurance on the boat used in this tournament.
Cancellation and Refunds
Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the tournament officials.
Entry to a tournament can be transferred to the next event with 48 hours notice.
Sportsmanship and common courtesy are a MUST. Boats and anglers may not interfere in any way of another angler or boat with-in an established area (within 50 ft of another boat). All fish MUST be cared for properly. Livewells must be used. The limit for the weigh-in is as follows. 6 walleye/sauger of legal size with total weight calculated. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE CONSUMED DURING THE TOURNAMENT HOURS.
ALL STATE LAWS REGARDING SIZE LIMIT, CARE OF FISH, OPERATION OF BOATS, or ANY LAWS PERTAINING TO THE BOATS AND/OR ANGLERS WILL BE ENFORCED.
Team Anglers of the Year Points (AOY)
Each team will identify a Captain. The Captain will earn the points from each Tournament. Points will be awarded, starting with 200 for 1st place, descending in one point increments, example, 2nd place, 199, 3rd place, 198, etc., etc..Also the weight of the days catch will be added to the point total. If a team catches no fish 50 show points will be awarded. The team with the highest point total, after all 4 tournaments, will receive 80% of the fund, 20% will be applied to trophies for team of the year. The team with the highest points at the end of the trail will receive the TRIP TO CANADA FOR 2. (sponsored by Anglers Kingdom Resort) To be eligible for the trip you must fish all 4 tourneys and be able to enterCanada. If you are unable to go to Canada the trip will be awarded to the next highest points holders.
Upon completion of this application and signature all participants waive and release the host, all sponsors, all tournament officials and other contestants from all claims or injury and/or damages incurred in connection with this tournament. We understand refunds of tournament fees will be at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. All decisions will be final.
