Results for March 22nd
First, we would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and congratulate all anglers whom participated in todays event.
We began the day with an 18 boat field. You couldn't have asked for a better day of fishing. With reports of not-so-good pre-fishing 2 weeks prior to the event. With the temps coming in at 60-65 and sunny, we were sure that we would see a nice days catch. That's exactly what the teams gave us.
With a total of 9 teams combined they had 25 fish caught weighing in at 72 lbs. That is an average just shy of 3lbs a piece. The warm spell over the past week must have set off the alarm clock and put the pancakes out for breakfast because today the big guys and gals were hungry.
Coming in at 1st place was the team of Derek Boger and Ron Demus, weighing in 3 fish at a whooping 22.37 LBS, taking home a check for $500, and earning 200 points off to a great start for W.A.Y. (walleye anglers of the year). Derek and Ron also took Big Fish Pot with a beautiful 10.52 LB walleye earning them a check for $180. In 2nd place we had the team of Andy Bufalo and Justin Cutter, with a great bag, weighing in 6 fish at 16.92 LBS, taking home a check for $250, and earning 199 points for W.A.Y. In 3rd place we had the team of Dave Tassoni and Nick Tassoni, also with a great bag, weighing in 5 fish at 14.93 LBS taking home a check for $115, earning 198 points towards W.A.Y. In 4th Place we had the team of Ben Wellen and Kris Kilmer, weighing in 3 fish at 8.83 Lbs, taking home a check for $75 and earning 197 points towards W.A.Y.

Weighing in 1 fish at 2.52 LBS we had the team of Dan Palmer and John Reynolds earning 195 points towards W.A.Y. Weighing in 2 fish at 1.91 LBS we had the team of Jim Humphry and Budd Andrews earning 194 points towards W.A.Y. Weighing in 1 fish at .75 LBS we had the team of Andy Oyen and John Daucher earning 193 points towards W.A.Y. Weighing in 1 fish at .71 LBS we had the team of Bobby Hoffman and Nick Hoffman earning 192 Points towards W.A.Y.
