We began the day with 13 boats competing for a $400 1st place prize. Along with that the BIG FISH pot was worth $130. With 2 days of rain a few days before the tourney we were praying not to have a tournament like in June. The waters did raise a bit and boat traffice was a factor in yesterdays event. As the teams headed back to the scale we had reports of some nice fish being caught in numbers but not in size.

The team of Brad Betke and Will Hauch managed a limit and weighed in 6 fish for 9.82 LBS. Taking home $400 and earned 200 points towards Team of the Year. James Blume and Rich Bennington were also a team to bring a limit to the scale. They weighed in 6 fish a 9.11 LBS and took home $200 and earned 199 points towards ( TOY ) also had a 2.52 LB Smallmouth to win BIG FISH at $130. Coming in Third place was the team of Brian and Brent Johnson with 5 fish weighing 7.02 LBS. and earning $75 and 198 points. They also placed 3rd in the June tourney and earned 198 points, giving them a total of 396 points.

We had a total of 10 boats weigh-in 32 fish for 48.81 LBS. NOT BAD for the DOG DAYS of summer. Other teams weighing in fish were Brad Olson and Brent Rose with 4 fish and 6.90 LBS. earning 197 points. Craig Adamson and Matt Ames with 4 fish at 5.77 LBS. earning 196 points. Zach Stewart and Greg Stewart with 3 fish for 4.66 LBS. earning 195 points. Victor Hunter and Nate Boggs with 1 fish for 1.92 LBS earning 194 points. Dave Tassoni and Nick Tassoni with 1 fish 1.71 LBS earning 193 points. Andy Bufalo and Justin Clutter with 1 fish at .98 LBS earning 192 points. Dan Daegner and Brian Vurnovas with 1 fish for .92 LBS earning 191 points.

Our next tourney will be September 26th and 27th and will be a 2 day tourney. $150 covers both days. $20 BIG FISH - optional
