Location: Rockford Illinois.
Ive been fishing for about 20 yrs and it was my dad who inspired me to start. I dont fish tourneys for catfish due to they are mainly on weekends and i work but love seeing them.
Favorite Pro: is Cattmatt he has taught me alot and has a wealth of information on catfishing.My favorite tackle would be a 2oz no roll with leader attached to a 8/0 king kahle eagle claw hook from bobs on 11st street its the only place for big tackle for big cats in rockford.
My favorite species would have to be catfish both channel and flatheads. My favorite bait for these would be live shad and cut shad between 4 and 10 inches as the rock river is full of these! A cast of the throw net in the right spot and i have bait for a whole night of fishing.I fish mainly at night on my days off due to the fact i work 3rd shift. This pic is one i caught fishing the rock with Matt Jones from Catfish Academy.com using shad for bait not my biggest this year just most recent photo for october.Since then i have caught good numbers of channels over 5lbs and 2 in last 3 days over 10lbs biggest 12.5! All from our own backyard the rock river!!!!

Favorite Targeted Species is catfish with lots crappie,bluegill.
A Little About Yourself Love to fish tourneys and do it as much as I hear about them. Love to fish for fun as much as possible, and do it often. Always looking to learn new tricks to the trade and I like to ask questions about others techinques and try em out.
